FIFA 20 Crossing Tips to help you score more goals from wide areas. In previous years, EA have stupidly allowed certain crosses to be very overpowered and, unfortunately, many have abused these mechanics.

Many of the new players of FIFA 20 might not even realise the crossing controls so firstly, below are the various different crosses that you can use, then we’ll follow up with a few tips.

The Tips

So, as you can see, there are a few different options when it comes to crossing the ball.

Our first FIFA 20 Crossing Tip is to make sure you have semi assisted settings on your controller settings. This will give you more control over where you cross the ball, rather than allowing the computer to dictate this for you. Manual is very difficult if you would like full control. We’ll give you a few scenarios of where you might be likely to cross from and then the tips to go alongside these.

When you have an attacker clear in the middle, you want to use the double or triple tap cross to fizz the ball across and play the ball in front of your attacker for them to run onto for an easy tap in.

If you’re crossing from deep on the pitch (your player must have early cross trait) then hold L1/LB to perform the cross. The longer you hold the button, the deeper the cross will go.

Don’t be afraid to use the driven pass as a cross when you’re in and around the goalline. It is a really useful tips that can be extremely hard to defend against.

These are our basic crossing tips but we have a hugely detailed section including secret button combinations that will help you in our Gameplay Guide here.
