Fifa 13 may seem a fair while away at the moment and, if like us, you’re still enjoying Fifa 12 then you may not have even given the next game in the Fifa series a second thought.
However, we are always thinking of new ideas and a whole host of things EA could improve on across all areas of the game. EA last year, more than ever, listened to the Fifa Community to improve their game to the best of their ability. This will be the case again this year and by posting your ideas/wishlist here we will then be able to forward these to EA Sports senior producers etc and get the things that are really important to us into the next game.
With the trinity of changes made for Fifa 12, which do you think worked best, if any?

For us, the trinity of innovations introduced were brilliant although improvements can definitely be made by EA.
We love the game but there are certain areas which always niggle us while we are playing.
1) Slide tackles rarely seem to give you the reward of actually winning possession. Instead they tend to just hold up the player so committing to a slide tackle seems hardly worth the risk.
2) The AI on Pro Clubs – we feel like a lot of clubs abuse the AI to their advantage. They can make 60 yard passes to their players just by calling for the ball. This needs to be addressed for us.
3) The ability to offerp players plus cash as part of transfers in career mode.

My first post will be about Ultimate Team, cause at the minute that is all I play.
1) full custom team logo (also for pro clubs)
2) full custom team kits (also for pro clubs)
3) better quality cups. More variety, and more than 1 at a time
3) a league setup, for all types of cards.
4) a special black gold cup. For the mega rich. (I’m not)
5) instead of stadiums cards you get a increase for wins, like in pro clubs. But it can be your own design.
6) if pro’s can get there own card, then why cannot us average Joe’s that is based on your VP, I know we have a problem with hackers editing there pro. But it can only be set with a 85 rating, and then locked. Cannot be sold cannot be traded.
7) remove Fut Founder from matching, only show it in opposition screen.

There must be the South African league and the Champs league in manager mode must be the one like at PES
Stricter ratings on players preforming badly EG Torres should be a 75 next season were as Nathan Dyer should be 80
How do you know torres will be bad next season he should have 86 if he becames good again and and he is much faster than fifa 12 has made him he should be 90 to 92 accelaration.
The option of extra time and penalties in online 2v2 etc.
how do you get on 2v2 heah to head?
You have to be on the same console and you can play as a guest in the seasons menu, just as you could for FUT last year in fifa 12.
1) Player + Cash offers for transfers.
Eg, It would be brilliant to offer; Joe Cole + £20million for Javi Martinez!
2) Better fan graphics and interactions.
3) Ability to sign players who have recently moved clubs… Just make the signing on fee a little higher!
4) Unique crowd chants.
Eg, Anfield sings ‘Fields Of Anfield Road’ and Britannia sings ‘Delilah’ during games.
5) Varying commentators each game automatically, with a wide variety of phrases throughout the season.

Hi, here are some ideas I’ve thought about which could possibly make FIFA 13 a much better game:
- MORE FIRST TOUCH CONTROLS: I like first touch control done though the right analogue stick but I think it can be made deeper and sophisticated yet simple.This is how it could work: If you barely push the right analogue stick in any direction the ball will only travel a very small distance from you, then, you would have to chase the ball. So it would be like passing to yourself. The same wood go if you pressed the right analogue stick for a longer time. Therefore, the amount of time and force that you apply on the right analogue stick determines the distance the ball travels and the speed behind it. Then, you have to manually chase after the ball. This would be very useful for invading defenders who charge after you as you would kick the ball to one direction causing the defender to miss the ball as his momentum carries him away.
Another thing to be applied to first touch controls would be to introduce a first touch where you cause the ball to flick in the air. For example; you are awaiting a ground pass when you control the ball via a first touch, you flick the ball. This move would be very useful for avoiding tackles specially diving tackles as you put the ball in the air with your first touch.
- IMPROVED RUNNING: I think running needs to improve in FIFA. In all the latest FIFAs players legs don’t move quick enough when they are running. Players legs and feet need to sort of shuffle more as they run and the momentum needs to be taken more into consideration. Sprinting needs to be more graceful and smooth. This could be done by making momentum more accurate and making the legs and feet move rapidly and ‘shuffle’. Their feet usually shuffle when they are either at full speed and when they are decelerating. When a player goes for a loose ball into space make them take long strides forward with fully outstretched legs. They never do this in FIFA, they don’t do long strides with outstretched legs so they should integrate this into the game.

I was playing a mate the other day and the game was slow slow slow!!! So as it was a friendly we decided to speed the game up to fast made. The game seemed much better and the sluggish lag disappeared to some extent. Maybe in sluggish online ranked game we could have a got after the fist five minutes to speed the game up a little. If both players agree then the fast mode is activated! This would help make good of dodgy pair ups!
Also, make players stick their hands and arms out in order to avoid falling on their faces or bumping against other players.
Create a jostle button and replace it for the contain button. I don’t think the contain button is necessary because we already have the jockey button so that’s enough. Now, with the jostle button you should be able to use your hands, elbows and arms to hold, push and even hug your opponent. So if you tap the jostle button you will perform a light hold or push, if you hold it for a long time you will wrap your arms around a player or aggressively push him. This could work when defending in the box on corners, also for defending players from behind and in other circumstances.
I think that EA needs to work a little more on the spin of the ball and how that spin affects it’s bounces off the ground and when it curves and with any other interaction. For example, in FIFA 12 when the ball is coming from on high and it land on the grass it always continues to bounce forward in the same direction from where it was heading to. This is not always the case in real life because sometimes the spin of the ball causes the ball to go on another direction when it hits and bounces of the ground eg; If I kick a ball into the air and far away when the ball comes down and bounces off the ground it’s possible that it could take a bounce back put out could take bounces in the same spot where it landed, not always forward because of the spin which is also affected by the wind. So EA should work on this aspect because ball spin takes a big role in passing and shooting. Make ball spin, ball physics and also the effects of wind and snow more accurate.

3 suggestions:
1. Allow for co-op play in Career mode over Xbox Live. Why can I not join a friend’s career game? I can play against them, but a lot of people (especially older players) crave teamwork ahead of beating our friends!
2. Different commentators (as mentioned on this thread previously) would be a benefit. Also, you get sick very quickly of commentators saying the same thing over and over, no matter how interesting this initially seems!
3. True working youth generation in Career mode – i.e. I’m in my 10th season, and the best player under 20 years old has an overall rating of 68.
4. Young players who dont play games should also improve, maybe not as fast as those who do play games, but there should still be some improvement. Scouting is a great addition to FIFA 12, but this needs to be overhauled by allowing a player to spend even larger quantities of money on the system to allow it to succeed. Currently, there’s no point in having a scouting system as the best player I can get is never good enough to play in my team – and when they are loaned out to gain experience, very rarely do you see any kind of true improvement
Other than that, cant fault the game really!!
I forgot some more!
1. CPU defenders clearing the ball under severe pressure from the player should not be able to make a 60 or 70 yard hoof upfield directly to feet! You need to work hard to put the defence under pressure to clear but when you do they still keep possession 95% of the time!
2. Loose balls still seem biased towards the CPU – for example, when a shot is blocked, it almost always falls to the opposition. EA need to make this more random
Some really good stuff there Lee, thanks for the comments. I will get in touch with EA Sports at the end of the month and pass on everyone’s ideas so if you have any more then please post more. Also if you have any friends with ideas then get them to post as well, the more the merrier and hopefully we casn get some changes. They’re usually pretty good with getting ideas from the fifa community.
- referee problem: in fifa 12 the referees often make terribly bad decisions, since many matches are decided by these bad decisions it really should be fixed
- online: you should be able to play 2vs2 league matches, tournaments, etc.
- since the commentators are just annoying after a couple of weeks, i thought it would be fun if you were able to record your own comments
- when it rains, it’s always pouring down for 90 mins and with a soaking wet pitch its no fun to play – wouldn’t a light rain or a shower do the job as well. it’s the same thing with snow, very exaggerated, you’re playing in madrid and the entire pitch is frozen! just scale it down a bit!
- also, more new celebrations, freekick options, etc. would be nice, since they have almost a year for developing
but nevertheless, fifa12 is still the best game arround in my opinion.

i would love to be able to play career mode online, that would really be awesome. Another thing i would like to see is some subs warming up during the game and the reactions of the coach when a huge opportunity is wasted or when a very important goal is scored. finally the younger players should grow even if they are not playing, they are still training at the higher level and they should improve.
I hope some of these ideas will be used in fifa 13,

Career mode online would be awesome!
I only wanna see one new thing in Fifa 13, and that is a “Spectating” system so you can be able to enjoy other games online. It means, I will get the chance to see when other players around the world are playing online-games against each others. Maybe if the rank 1th player on the Leaderboards are playing against the rank 2th player, then it would be fun to watch the game. Of course I will understand if that should make some “lagg problem”and disconects, but maybe EA should give it a chance?
Please add all stadiums in all of the leagues , competetions like the proper champions league , also better graphics for the matches and finally better fans for example celebrating goals like on tv and singing proper chants
I think there are three main problems with fifa 12.
1- animation repetition. Fifa can become very boring simply because there are a certain number of shooting, crossing, heading, and passing animations that can get really irritating. Like when i am playing a long ball or a cross, i just know it is going to be one of few ways in which the ball is kicked. Its even worse with shooting. I get through 1 on 1, and to be honest i would rather see another animation for the shot than to see it go in with the same old. In real life you will never really see two strikes of the ball that are exactly the same in a match will you?
2- retarded defenders! The amount of times someone has played a cross in and my defender has haplessly wandered off is amazing. When you are not controlling a defender they should not just completely peel away from the striker they were marking. Also when a player is dribbling or shooting, sometimes the defender wont make a challenge! Or even stick out a leg. Im talking about when i am holding L trigger right between a guy and the goal, and he still just hits it without my defender trying to do anything (although to be fair they block it SOMETIMES).
3- too much end to end. I understand the games need to be fast paced to keep people entertained, but seriously how many times do you see attack switching from one end to another so frequently and quickly without any build up play or anything. I would be playing some nice build up play, working the ball up the pitch, suddenly some next guy tackles me and plays your average 75 yard incisive through ball and some fast character sprints through and scores! It is exasperating at the best of times.
Some of these other suggestions are good too, e.g. sorting out the youth system, and wind in matches.
I only complain because i care.
it would be so good if we could see training before games and train with team mates up close( vdeos of getting out the mini bus and walk to changing rooms to get ready for the game). what also will be good is the stadiums to be more realistic and also we would love to see the medical staff run on pitch if an injury happens. one more thing we should be able to have all famous tornaments( champions league, Euro 2012). also could we see players going on tour around the world. when a team wins a match be more of a celibration and if a team wins an important match can the fans run on the pitch congradulating the players.

i agree with taining with teammates before a game
1) If you win the league then you get a full presentation including medals, lifting the cup,managers come out first.
2) (manager mode/career mode) if you are looking to sign a player you go to the stadium to watch there appearance.
3) if rivals play a match then you get to pick if there is a fight or not.and who starts it.
4) before,half time and at the end of the match you get to go into the changing room to see what the players do also you can watch them train,work in the gym and get there boots on in the boot room.
5) before a match you can decide if you want a streaker to come on at a certain time in the game also you can decide if it is a male or female but the private parts are blurred. out.
6) you get to pick which teams are in the tournaments and decide if it is world cup, Europium cup and champions etc.
I hope they fix the problem with the virtual pro mode. Not sure if anyone else encountered it, but if you stayed with a club for a second season nearly all the players became free agents and you were left playing with the youth squad. Playing in the EPL with a squad who is rated on average 35 overall, although challenging, isn’t much fun. Also getting offers during the January transfer window would be good.
This isn’t a realistic suggestion but a sims like game in virtual pro mode between matches to spend the millions you earn would be fun.
The strikers don’t make runs often enough. The AI in the defenders isn’t great either.
The keepers nearly always save it if they get a touch on it which isn’t very realistic. Some shots are too powerful and some keepers have limp wrists. Poor keepers should make a bad mistake every now and then, like dropping a cross or letting a ball go through their legs.
When you hold down the short pass button for more power the closest team mate will automatically leave it for a player often a long way behind them so you can’t drill a hard, short pass. Very frustrating. There’s a dummy button anyway so it would be best to leave it to the person to decide who the pass was for. Obviously a firm pass could cause a heavy touch from players with a low ball control rating.
That’s all I’ve got for now.
Good ideas apart from maybe the SIMS mode to spend your earned money. That is something that may come years and years down the line but EA will always focus on the actual gameplay.
Re the attacking runs this is something they announced last week they are looking to change with Attacking Intelligence. Also, you mentioned the heavy touches etc. This again, is something they are changing with First Touch Control. Please see the Fifa 13 news area of the site for a breakdown of the the 5 areas the EA Sports Fifa team annoucned last week.

My ideas for fifa 13 would be that there would carry the players off that are injured and that there would show the sports official with the board when you make a substitute and that you could add your own music on the music playlist
It would be nice if you playing as a player in career mode you would get selected for you national squad for the world cup
I think it would be better in Career mode if you start from a low club because since Fifa tries to be realistic then prem teams don’t just choose new managers. Also maybe change the managers around, clubs could fire them. Also if I join Swansea and the leave Brenden Rodgers becomes manager again. Finaly I agree that a trade transfer thing would be good.

My ideas:
1. Player + cash for players in career mode- e.g Ashely Cole + £15million for Sergio Ramos
2. In Career mode you should be able to manage national teams
3. In Career mode you should be able to see the managers- e.g Swansea vs Manchester United you should be able to see Brenden Rogers and Alex Ferguson
4. In Career Mode as a created player you should start at a pub team and work your way up
5. Real Champions League, Europa League and World Cup tournement in career mode as player and manager
6. Players should get in fights on the pitch
7. Old players should be able to come out of retirement in career mode- e.g Alan Shearer and Eric Cantona
8. In career mode you should be able to be interviewed
9. Put the Blue Square leagues on there- Blue Square Premier, Blue Square North and Blue Square South
10. Put South African and Tunisian League on there
11. Realistic overalls- Torres is 75, Messi is 99, Ronaldo is 98, Bale is 85, Mata is 90
12. Put Chinese leagues on there so Anelka is on the game
13. On career mode you should have the option to change the teams kits- Liverpool could change their sponsor to O2
14. Put classical teams on there- England 1966, Liverpool 1984

When people genuinely lose their internet connection through no fault of their own, they shouldn’t be punished by having put down as them quitting the match
I love the idea of being recruited by your native country to play for the national team.. but seeing as there will probably never be a world cup in a Fifa game (not saying that I don’t want one
I would love to play in a cup every four seasons) it feels a little unrealistic to ask for. But the ONE thing I want is to allow your virtual pro to be traded/loaned out during transfer seasons. Maybe you’re a great player but you cost too much to keep, or maybe you don’t have what the team is looking for.. either way, being traded around would feel so realistic. I hate the current system where you basically pick whichever team you desire and then have several choices of what to do at the end of the season.. anyways.. thats my two cents

I think EA is doing an exelent job but in player mode I think you shouuld start at the youth acedamy and then work your way up to big clubs eg: Real Madrid; Manchester United etc

I think there should be an online tournament
Need to fix the problem where you play a through ball to a quick attacker who’s running flat stick towards the ball and looks like they’ll easily get it before the defender, only for the attacker to get caught behind the defender when he catches him. The quicker player can never run past for some reason. It’s as if the defender is just holding him there, you can’t get around unless you run a massive loop around him, by which time he has the ball anyway.
I would like to have more sud american clubs and copa libertadores and for the career as player should be nice if you can play for your national club too not just for clubs.
and more licences referees and stadiums.

I haave noticed in fifa when I was running flat out with Messi john Terry was able to catch me Its just not possible for Eg: a player with 94 sprint speed n acceleration can be catched by a player with a 79-82 acceleration n sprint speed

The only thing I can think of was maybe Messi was out of energy whereas JT had lots left. Either that or if you were on FUT then the chemistry can affect things like this too.

I think EA can improve overall defending with a few defensive moves and defensive AI. Here are some examples;
Defensive pivoting: When players defend in the box or when the ball is scrambling around defenders should not turn running around from one area to the next as if running around in circles. Instead, they should plant one foot to the ground and skillfully pivot in the same spot when the ball is scrambling in thay particular area. In this way defenders avoid leaving spaces open because they try to chase players. Instead, the track balls and pivot in the same spot while rotating to meet the ball behind them or to any other angle.
Defensive anticipation: Defenders and other players involved in defence should anticipate their opponents move by mentally linking the probable link of passes or areas of play that their opponent will utilise next. Defenders should read numbers of attacking versus defending players and work to support when they see the defence outnumbered for example in a counter comprising of three attackers versus two defenders plus the keeper. In this instant, the cpu controlled defender seeing the three vs two mismatch would probably run towards goal to try to block the path of the shot towards goal. He would make one side of the goal his final destination. When a team is in attack, their defenders should patrol the back and cover the most dangerous gaps left by side backs or defensive midfielders or any other danger zone. Just like attacking players are thinking two plays ahead, their defensive teammates are likewise thinking two plays ahead and getting to danger zones before the opposing team gets there after the opposing team gains back possession. This way, when in attack and a team loses the ball that teams defense has already prepared itself ahead of time or collects a loose ball because they anticipated and got their early.
In player mode before becoming a pro footballer you would have to go to a youth acedamy 1st

(2)if a manger gets sacked that you get approached by them clubs through out the season

(6) more relestic stadiums

you should add the WALES NATIONAL TEAM.
in pro clubs you should be able to get money for winning games and with that money you can buy diffrent players for your clubs such as any players. this way you will always have the same group of any players and when you win a game you can save up the money and buy better ones.
also if you go up a league or win a cup or league you get money to do this and diffrent start levels in that club give you more money to spend on these players.
Also again you should be able to crerate your own kit and crest for clubs would be good.
Also on 12 i am a 8.5 amr st and any players are to good and most of them ar to fast that they can even keep pace with somone that is 5.2.
and stop 127 hacks. has to be the main.
and again on pro clubd#s there should be like a kinda euro or world cup stage were ppeople select pros and they play together. but they will have to look for the good players not just there friend.
ohh and make baines better than 80.
In my opinion Fifa 13 should modify the way players grow. It should be way more connected to how the players perform than to what their potential is set to be.
Allow me to illustrate: I have just lead Charlton Ath. to the Premier League and is getting a pretty strong team by signing free or transfer listed players. Among others i got Andreas Laudrup (yes, the son of Michael), a young player, not very high rated, but, i thought, decent player for the future. He has been doing really well, i actually managed to score a lot of goals with him, even though that is’nt his speciality and, of course, assisted to numerous others. His ratings are about 8-9 everytime in the Premier League games. EVEN SO his stats are still only 68!
I think, to become more realistic, Fifa 13 should allow players to be more “free” from their potential. This would allow a little club like Charlton f.ex. to benefit from large clubs wanting f.ex. Laudrup because of his performances in the league. It would also prevent the game from being way too easy to predict if you did’nt know that Götze would definitely end up a 90-player or that you could develop your own little star by making him do well (score goals, assist and so on). I thought a lot about this and i believe it would make the game, not only more realistic, but better.
What I think they should improve are:
- Show managers on the touchline and in cut-scenes.
- More international teams and authentic kits/logos.
- Real faces for important people like i.e. Hulk, Suarez, Neymar, Ramires.
- Handball rule correctly applied constantly, as the option to put it on at the moment is very weak and they award handballs for everything.
- Make a difference playing home or away i.e. at home your players get more of a spur of energy etc.
- The option to dive, it’s part of todays game and may give out a bad influence but it’s part and parcel of the game!
- Better free-kick taking mechanics, seems a bit too easy and simplistic for a player who knows how to take them to score.
- Improve how the nets look.
- Real referees such as Howard Webb and Wolfgang Stark
- Improve defensive intelligence, if a defender sees a striker making a run then adjust to that.
- Improve the throw-in system.

And one last thing CREATE an attribute for fitness! So older players in lower leagues or just generally unfit players loose there fitness and you have to take them off like real life! I understand that the game is probably in its final stages of development so this is more a suggestion for later entries into the fifa franchise.
Something that has really been bothering me lately is the way in which the difficulty options work. Now I don’t thin it is unfair to assume that by increasing the difficulty level the CPU player will improce by utilising its player’s stats better and by becoming more aggressive.
Instead, however the game makes playing the game more difficult by giving less decisions in your favour, making your players make less intelligent runs and just generally making the game feel unfair and biased. This seems to be a very lazy way to programme the game. My suggestion is to make the CPU opponent a more skilled player rather than making it difficult for your to play to your ability, making the game frustrating and unenjoyable.

Pro clubs has to be improved. Create your own kit, stadium etc! The main thing has to be being able to win the points to buy CPU players or even a scouting system would be amazing. Pro clubs is now a big part for a lot of dedicated FIFA players now. Please sort this as its too basic and CPU players are terrible

It would be great to play career mode as a national team. Call up the best players from your country, practice, play qualifying matches, then a world cup. The the next season would start as heading towards the next world cup
I think that for when you are playing online things like Ultimate team or even friendlys, People in you’re friends list can have the option to watch you’re game. You either watch them win or lose, or maybe just some encouragement it will still be nice to watch you’re friend in action as they can watch you aswell. I just thought it would be a good idea insted of listening to you’re friend you can actually when the game. I have mentioned this idea to many people and they all agree it would be a fun and great idea!

.Firstly, aswell as the previous suggestion of players + cash offers I think that if you put a player for sale you should be able to deviate from the fifa price tag so for example if Baines is valued at £15 million but you put him up for sale you should be able to put it at £20 million if you wish – but obviously, the more you bump it up (the less realistic you make it) the less chance you have of getting an offer. Also bring back the ‘ask for more’ option when accepting or rejecting an offer. Bring back international call ups and the option to become an international manager if you’ve done well in your career. If this happens then you have to pick your squad from scratch from a list of all the players of that nationality as oppose to using the standard default squad. More press interaction within career mode, answer questions that will affect team morale, fan support and the board’s mentality.
General game features – diving should be introduced basically because of how widely used it is nowadays in today’s game. Regardless of whether or not it’s wrong, it is a kep aspect in the game today. Like older, different football games, if you mis-time your dive then you can be booked for diving of course.
Goalkeepers need to be part of the impact engine more. Time and time again my striker has tried to slide into a ball that the keeper has stretched for and despite connecting with the ball or keeper, he keeps the ball. Same for corners when the keeper catches the ball despite a defender jumping into him, the ball doesn’t drop and neither does the keeper.
I think that if you’re buying the game in the UK then you should have the stadiums for all teams in the premiership, if you’re buying it in the US then they have the MLS stadiums.
The crowd needs to be improved somehow, more than the 2 pairings of current commentators and also real referees such as Howard Webb etc.
A possible idea I thought of was having a stat for each goalkeeper that decided how often a goalkeeper would make a mistake because at the end of the day even the best goalkeepers make a bad decision (misjudge flight of ball, spill the ball, come for it on corner and miss it) etc. This would be far better than playing against a quality keeper such as Casillas and him never ever making a mistake.

Add the south african league(psl) and be fair with some of the players ratings, for example kesuike honda is an excellent playmaker he should have an overall of around 86-88, also add the south african players commentator names, or even add the south african commentators is possible, ratings should be fair, and in manager mode when a player is on form his overall should increase bt when off form his overall should slightly decrease

-(Major want)Above all, it would be great to have a reserve team like “Barcelona B”. It gets so frustrating when players want playing time but have other players ahead of them. Also it would be good to be able to have the youth squad on there to, maybe try them out before actually signing them.
-(minor Want)Be able to convert a players Position and/or teach him multiple positions kinda like in Ultimate Team. I have a CM I got from scouting that is more than capable of playing RM or RW.
-Have a training mode like they had a couple of years back in Madden where in the preseason, you could have a player do some drills to work on attributes.
-Have a filter system for the kind of players you want when you send your scout to a country, like when your searching a player to buy screen. I’d much rather scout a player than pay a ridiculous transfer fee for a young promising player. Anyone thats played Madden knows that when it comes to the draft/scouting,it is broken down by positions.
-Also an idea i read off of a forum is let the players be called up to their international teams. Would be good so I can give some other players some playing time and take a little pride in you players if it was one that you scouted and developed.
-When playing the second leg, the teams should play they way they do when theyre down by 2 goals or less in the 80th minute. Any one ever notice that they play with alot more intensity? Run more, attempt to steal the ball more, intercept passes and so on. they just seem more desperate and with more intensity. They should kno that even tho theyre winning 2-0, that they still need another goal or 2 to tie the aggregate.

i dunno about everyone else but id like a dive button in the game because their is a lot in real life. maybe u mostly get booked but every once in a while u do get a penalty could have a diving ststistic too so robben ronaldo drogba etc are really gd at it.
I think that the players prices in the transfer section of the game should be more realistic. I believe that the prices are too high compared to real life .. Also I think it would be a unique factor if you were able to talk to the press or reply to requests sent by the players . I spend a lot of time playing career mode and feel that it becomes boring not having the freedom that a real manager would have for example to use players as offers to sign somebody like giving nani and 15 million for bale. I think this would make the game better
In pro clubs im fed up of having to make my pro really small just so I can have a decent chance of out sprinting an AI player. Most professional footballers are over 6″0 and they dont lack in pace so heights need to be more realistic plz
Also pro goalkeepers on FIFA 12 have jedi reflexes ie: smash from two yards is easily saved so they need to be made more realistic as well

When playing as ‘any’ with our pro club it happens too often that when the opponent gives a (through)pass which goes just past a defender, the defender automatically sticks out his foot while he is not able to intercept the ball. He sticks out his foot automatically while I just want to run towards our goal, knowing the defender will not be able to intercept the ball. This slows him down several meters and gives the opponent the opportunity to go 1on1 with our goalkeeper.
ProClubs is awesome, but there are some other ‘issues’ i think that should be improved. Can’t come up with them atm so will post those later.

They should do youth games for young players and players that you have scouted.
on FUT they should scrap position cards- or each player has 3 positions they can play in – because when i have played with barca david villa only gets good chem LW when his best position is upfront ST, for example he could play WING,STRIKER AND CAM. Also another thing they should introduce on FUT a money match where each player puts in a amount of coins, and the winner gets all of them, you could also to this with players for example i could offer gerrard and the other play has to offer someone the same vale and the winner gets the player. Also when playing online you should be allowed to play with your mate.
More hairstyles for created players ( mario gomez style) more fashionable styles rather than the same bland combed left or right. Ea made an improvement of the hairstyles this year but more could be done.
Players change hairstyles every few months and u can choose to change your VP or created players hairstyles if you wish
As your VP or created players start at maybe 16 they can get naturally stronger and have things like growth spurts(this may be a bit deep)
You can start off as a like 12 year old playing sunday league football and try to get noticed by scouts to get hired by pro teams and you can work your way upo through youth teams to one day make it as a pro.
In career mode if you feel that your VP, created player or just any player is weak( paticularly younger players) you can tell them to hit the weights in training so they bulk up more.
You can adjust your VP or created players height if they’re under 17 or 18( eg. A centre forward VP might be 16 and 5 foot 10 but they can grow to 6 foot 2) my ideas would make career mode much more in depth. Please EA use my ideas from my 3 posts
I think giving the option to play a multi player season would be great, challenging your mates for cups and adding transfers to build your squad even buying players off your mates would be a good competetive gameplay.
One thing what defo needs sorting out is the pro clubs, the defenders are ridiculous! i think you should be giving the option to have a set squad of AI players but say if you win games you can buy better players for your club, e.g say you win games you get points well maybe you can get money too? then depending on your result you can cash in for better AI players what you can have permantly in your club and if your sick of them plaers you can cash them in.
I agree, I only play pro clubs and the cpu players just frustrate especially when they do that stupid lob pass when your 3 foot away, also I think it needs addressing that if you press square – they cross, triangle through ball, it doesnt happen enough, and ANY should be removed

it would be really good if you added tattos that all the big named players have like the sleeves David Beckham has and tim cahil and some of the neck tatz like keving prince boateng and again David beckham have in fifa 12. also i would love it if you could create a player and give them a selection of say 5 different tatz for the arms and say 4 for the neck.
If there is a staff transfer list so mangers who are out of the job you offer them a contract and if they accept they become your assistant manger. A example here is for goalkeeping coaches I’m a tottenham fan and I might want to sign Edwin van der sar as a goalkeeping coach I offer him a 2 contract with £42 thousand a week if he accepts my goalkeeper improves if he declines my goalkeepers performance dips.
You should also have a staff budget to keep staff on with contracts or if you want sack them. And with this budget you can approach clubs for staff I hope my ideas are taking siriesley

Get rid of tactical defending and bring back legacy defending like in fifa 10 and fifa 11 the way you could defend in them fifa’s they were so much better and everyone found it a much better way to defend. Also even though you have the option in fifa 12 it doesn’t work the same so just legacy defending would be great and make fifa 13 the greatest game on earth.

The only complain I have and want removed from FIFA period is the Boosting of players against friends or custom head to head. I think it’s not fair play to have to play against someone who’s pace is 99 it’s fluking crazy. Also, shitty players who run to the side to cross the ball and win with a header.

I think the game can be made more realistic by when a player suffers a serious Injury e.g a broken leg they are stretched off the pitch.
Also when there is a big game e.g Man United V Man city there should be a bigger build up to the game with players and managers talking about the game.
also with fans being louder for these big games.
Also players should be able to recover faster after the game ( depending on their age as I find it annoying when I have a game on a Saturday then on the wedneday and most of the players that I played on the Saturday dont have enough energy for the game on the Wednesday, I know players will get tired in the season and will need a rest but this happens all the time.

i think most ppl play pro clubs and the three most frustrating things on there is the computers defending there like a sunday league team lol and the ANY role could do with being removed as it states its PRO clubs if ppl want to use any then stick to head to head
but the most annoying problem on fifa the EA servers there rubbish and they should be the main issue EA needs to deal with

Being able to perform a flat shot/knuckleball or whatever you want to call it. This can for exampel be done in PES by tapping the shot button a second time as the player strikes the ball. More and more players are using this type of shot in real life and I can say that I would use it alot in FIFA.

MIDDLESBOROUGH’s stadium as we know is at RIVERSIDE and BLACKBURN ROVERS is EWOOD PARK, could all the stadiums in the next fifa series be named so we know where we are playing please?

the first touch system is silly, building in random elements to a game means that building your pro up is pointless as it can be ruined by randomness.
why have an injury or cramp if it doesn’t affect the game, you stay on the field and nothing changes.

1.Defense is broken.Fix it.We don’t want super human defenders but a more organized defense.
2.Chemistry should increase as we play more number of matches in FUT.Its about building your own dream team but somehow its restricted because of chemistry issues.
3.Over the top through balls are way to powerful just like finesse shot was in 11 and 12.
4.Do away with the legacy defending completely(at least online). Its just button mashing.Its defending without applying brain. I hate to play in online lobbies because of pressure abusers.
